Third Annual IFCC Do North, a community arts celebration. Dozens of artists from North and Northeast Portland working in all mediums , from sculpture and painting to poetry are featured. Tucked within our neighborhoods we have an amazing number of “dance halls.” Many built in the 1920’s. They spoke to cultures, rich within our community. The exhibition includes drawings of dance and music, in collaboration with photo stories researched by David Edwards, highlighting Porltand’s dance hall history. There will be story telling from people who have personal experiences to share. (Bring Yours!)
